Eurovision 2019: Eesti Laul Participants Announced!

Estonian broadcaster ERR has now revealed the participants of the next edition of Eesti Laul, the annual national selection that is used to decide who will represent Estonia at Eurovision.

The competition will feature 24 acts, and those acts were chosen from a pool of 216 submissions. At this time, only the artists and song titles have been revealed, however the songs will be made public on the 1st of December.

There will be two semi-finals taking place on January 31st and February 2nd, and the final of Eesti Laul 2019 will be on February 16th, 2019.

Perhaps the most notable name for Eurovision fans is Sandra Nurmsalu who has previously represented Estonia as part of the group Urban Symphony who went on to finish in 6th position in the Eurovision 2009 final.

Stig Rästa fans will also be happy to see that he will be taking part in this year’s Eesti Laul but this time as a composer. He collaborated on the entry Storm by Victor Crone.
